Privacy Policy

Qissanect ("we", "us") runs the website www.qissanect.com and the Qissanect mobile app for Android and iOS (together, the "Service"). This policy explains what information the Service collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

You can use the Service without creating an account. What we collect depends on the features you use:

• Text you give the AI Content Generator. The topic, content type and tone you enter are sent to our server and passed to Google's Gemini API to create your result. We don't save your input or the result.
• Messages you send us. When you use the contact form or the account deletion form, or email us, we receive your name, email address, the topic you pick and your message.
• Admin accounts. The team members who manage the prompt library sign in with an email address and password. We store the email address, an optional name and a hashed password, never the password itself. Visitors don't have accounts.
• Images uploaded by admins. Images added to prompts are stored with our image host, Cloudinary.
• Website usage. The website uses Google Analytics, which uses cookies to record things like the pages you visit, your device and browser type, the site that referred you and your approximate location (worked out from your IP address).
• Technical logs. Our hosting provider records basic details of each request, such as IP address, time and the page requested, to keep the Service running and secure.

Some preferences never leave your device. On the website, the prompts and GPTs you save or like, your theme and your list or grid view are kept in your browser's local storage. In the app, your saved prompts, saved GPTs and theme are kept in the app's storage, and an admin's sign-in token is kept in the device's secure storage.

We can't see this information. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's data for our site, clearing the app's storage in your phone's settings, or uninstalling the app.

The app uses your internet connection to load prompts and generate content. It asks for access to your photos only when an admin chooses an image for a prompt, and it only reads the photo they pick. The app doesn't use your camera, microphone, contacts or location.

• To provide the Service, such as generating the content you ask for.
• To answer your messages and handle your requests, including requests to delete data.
• To understand how the website is used and make it better.
• To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it to build advertising profiles.

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the Service, and only what they need:

• Google (Gemini API) creates AI content from the text you submit. Google's privacy policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
• Google Analytics measures how the website is used.
• Cloudinary stores images uploaded by admins.
• Our hosting, database and email providers store the Service's data and deliver the messages you send us.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or others. If the Service is ever sold or merged, this policy will continue to apply to the information we hold.

• AI Content Generator input and results: not kept by us. Google processes them under its own terms.
• Messages to support and deletion requests: kept only as long as we need to help you and keep a record of the request.
• Admin accounts: kept until the account is deleted.
• Website analytics: kept by Google Analytics for no longer than 14 months.
• Technical logs: kept for a short time for security and troubleshooting.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, email support@qissanect.com or use the form at www.qissanect.com/contact. We'll respond within 30 days.

• You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on from https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
• You can clear the data kept on your device at any time, as described above.
• You can ask us to delete your data, as described below.

To have your personal information deleted, including an admin account or messages you've sent us, email support@qissanect.com or use the contact form at www.qissanect.com/contact and choose "Delete my account or data". We'll confirm by email and finish within 30 days.

Prompts and articles published on the Service are part of the Service, not personal data, so they stay up when an admin account is deleted.

All traffic to the Service is encrypted with HTTPS, passwords are stored only as salted hashes, and the app keeps sign-in tokens in the device's secure storage. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

The Service isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. When they do, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer.

We may update this policy as the Service changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date, and for significant changes we'll also give notice on the website or in the app.
